* City Tour 4hrs to start discovering the essentials of Buenos Aires

A unique treasure just a few kilometres from Buenos Aires…

This trip will not only take you to Tigre, a very popular spot in the province of Buenos Aires, but will also introduce you to the coastal route to this part of the north of the city that few people have the chance to see. Patrick, having lived there, knows all the places where Argentines go to relax at the weekend.

San Isidro, with its cobbled streets, cathedral and magnificent views over the Rio de la Plata, is also on the programme.

You will then embark on a catamaran in Tigre with explanations of the way of life in the Delta, where we have been sailing for many years.

At the end of the tour you will be taken back to your hotel. In the evening, you will be taken to the best tango show in town where you will also be served a great dinner,

(You will be picked up from your hotel with your luggagge).

You will visit Tigre and the Delta after which you will go to the airport.

You will be taken to the airport for your flight to Ushuaia where you will be picked up and taken to your hotel.
You will have 2 excursiosns

* Morning: Tierra del Fuego National Park;

Description:

– The picturesque Bahia Ensenada, home to the Unidad Postal del Fin Mundo, where you’ll have the chance to have your passport stamped with an “Fin del Mundo” (“End of the World”) souvenir stamp (USD 3 per person).
– The magnificent Lago Roca, where you can enjoy a peaceful and charming walk – with great photo opportunities – around part of the lake.
– Centro de Visitantes, where you can buy snacks and souvenirs while enjoying panoramic views of the picturesque mountains, forest and rivers.
– Vehicle tour of Río Lapataia, the Cormoranes archipelago, Laguna Verde and Río Ovando.
– Bahia Lapataia and the end of Ruta Nacional 3, the southernmost point of the Pan-American Highway, where you can take photos of the famous sign indicating the distance in kilometres between Ushuaia and Alaska.

 * Afternoon: A navigation in the Beagle Channel.

Description:

Lobos” navigation in the Beagle Channel is an excursion to see the flora and fauna. It includes a short 30-minute walk. The excursion ends at around 6pm very close to the port. 6-7 min walk.
Description: We leave from the local tourist pier and cross the wide bay of Ushuaia until we reach the Beagle Channel via Paso Chico. There, we’ll sail around the Isle of Birds, where we’ll be able to appreciate the Fuegian avifauna. We’ll see Skúas, Black-browed Albatrosses, Vapour Ducks, Cauquenes, Cook’s Gulls and Grey Gulls. We will then approach the Isla de los Lobos, where we will be able to observe one- and two-haired sea lions. These two islands are part of the Bridges archipelago. Arriving at Les Eclaireurs lighthouse, we can see colonies of imperial and rock cormorants while listening to the story of the sinking of the SS Monte Cervantes in 1930. We’ll make our way down to Puerto Karelo, part of the Bridges Islands, where you can visit authentic Yámana shell deposits. This guided walk lasts around 20 minutes and focuses on a panoramic point where you can take some great photos.

You will be taken to the airport to fly to El Calafate wher you will be picked up and taken to your hotel.
Upsala Glacier

In Puerto Bandera you board a modern catamaran and start the navigation that crosses the Boca del Diablo to access the Northern Arm of Lake Argentino. After navigating this arm, you will reach the Upsala and Spegazzini channels, where the landscape changes considerably and you will see forests, high hills and glaciers.

After navigating the Upsala branch, you will reach the glacier . Here it is possible to see the largest icebergs that sometimes make it difficult to approach the wall of the largest glacier in the National Park

catamaran excursion on the Upsala glacier

A short and easy trekking

After visiting the Upsala Glacier we arrive at Onelli Bay. There you will disembark and are invited to walk along an 800-metre trail through forests and mountains with a spectacular view of the Agassiz and Onelli glaciers. During this short walk you can also see smaller glaciers such as Bolados and Heim Norte.

Important: the disembarkation takes place if the weather and navigable conditions allow it.

Spegazzini Glacier

On the banks of the Spegazzini channel the dense vegetation stands out forming unforgettable landscapes. This is one of the wettest areas of the National Park and in the middle of the forests the South Heim Glacier and the Dry Glacier stand out. Finally we arrive at the Spegazzini Glacier, which with its 130 metres above the water level, is the highest of the National Park.

Perito Moreno Traditional Excursion:

* Duration: Full day after which you fly to Buenos Aires (approximate pick-up 9:00 am)

* Tour w/ private guide

It is the classical tour to visit the Perito Moreno Glacier without physical demands and with plenty of time to explore the National Park’s walkways and balconies.

The guided tour departs from your hotel in El Calafate and, after a journey of 80km through a succession of lakes, streams, forests and snowy mountains we arrive at the west end of the Magellan’s Peninsula, where the walkways complex and visitor’s area is located.
The walkways are arranged in several levels that allow you to see the glacier from different angles and balconies. Plenty of time will be granted to walk through the walkways and appreciate the Perito Moreno Glacier upfront. According to your fitness level, you will be able to reach the lowest balcony, which is the nearest to the glacier, or only get to the first balcony which is easily accessible for everyone and from where you have a spectacular view. An elevator is currently operating to facilitate access to the first balcony to people with reduced mobility.
A one-hour boat ride in front of the south face of the glacier is included.

After the tour, you will be taken to the airport   to fly to Buenos Aires

A 4hr City Tour followed by a transfer to the airport
