* DAY 2. TUCUMAN – CAFAYATE

Departure to Cafayate via Tafí del Valle, Amaicha, and Quilmes.
Route 307 marks the ascent to the valleys. The road enters the Los Sosa River Gorge and we stop at the “El Indio” monument. Further up, we reach El Mollar to visit the Menhirs. We then visit the picturesque town of Tafí del Valle. Route 307 ascends the Calchaquí Valleys in a steep zigzag to the Abra del Infiernillo, at 3,042 meters above sea level.

Amaicha del Valle: We visit the plaza and its surroundings. After joining Route 40, the Sacred City of Quilmes appears on the left. At the foot of the hill, we can see the reconstructions of the residential area, topped by a fortress located at the top and two forts on either side. We walk through what was the last bastion of indigenous resistance against the Spanish advance. The legendary Route 40 disappears into the valley heading north, but not before passing through Colalao del Valle.

Cafayate: Land of sun and fine wine, welcomes us with grape crops grown on trellises and vines. We visit a winery. Overnight in Cafayate.

* DAY 3. CAFAYATE – SALTA.

Cafayate, located in the province of Salta, is one of the most important spots in the Calchaquí Valleys for its powerful wine industry. Its Calchaquí, Spanish, immigrant, and Creole history has resulted in this city’s colonial and late 19th-century baroque style. We will visit the wineries where you can taste the unique Torrontés wine. We then depart for Salta through the majestic Quebrada de las Conchas, where the curious formations eroded by wind and water will be the main attraction: the dunes, the Toad, the Bishop, the Devil’s Throat, the castles, the amphitheater, among others. Overnight in Salta.

* DAY 4. SALTA

Visit the San Lorenzo summer resort on the outskirts of the city with its subtropical microclimate and the Artisan Market, where certified artisan crafts from across the province are displayed. Overnight in Salta.

DAY 5. SALTA – HUMAHUACA

It begins with arrival at the small town of Purmamarca to observe the Hill of Seven Colors, the church, and the artisan market in the plaza. We pass by the Hornillos Post Office and continue to the town of Tilcara to visit the Pucará and the Archaeological Museum. We continue to Huacalera, passing the Tropic of Capricorn, from where you can see the colors of the hill known as the Pollera de la Colla. We visit the Church of Uquía, where the paintings of the Arcabuceros Angels are located (an important vestige of the Cuzco school in the area). Day 2: Panoramic City Tour and Tango Dinner Show.

In the morning, after breakfast, you will enjoy an excursion that conveys the excitement of Buenos Aires’s diverse landscape.
You will visit the symbol of our city: the Obelisk. We will visit plazas such as Mayo, San Martín, Alvear, and Congreso; avenues such as Corrientes, De Mayo, and 9 de Julio, among others; historic neighborhoods such as La Boca and San Telmo; sumptuous neighborhoods such as Palermo and Recoleta; and modern neighborhoods such as Puerto Madero; parks such as Lezama and Tres de Febrero; commercial and financial districts and the Football Stadium, among others.

In the evening, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a full dinner and a traditional tango show at the El Querandí tango house. Day 3: Tigre Delta Boat Tour

Along its banks, bars, restaurants, grills, and ice cream shops create a gastronomic center where tranquility reigns, an atmosphere that replicates the serenity conveyed by the open views of the river just steps from downtown Tigre.

On the way back to the autonomous city of Buenos Aires, we’ll observe River Plate’s Monumental stadium; the Buenos Aires University Campus; and the permanent aerial parade of departures and arrivals at the Metropolitan Airport.

Day 4: From Buenos Aires to Iguazu + Falls on the Brazilian Side

We’ll start the day early in the morning. We’ll pick you up from your hotel and take you to the airport for the journey to Puerto Iguazu.

We’ll walk for approximately one hour along a 1,000-meter path from Hotel Das Cataratas, which will take us to a fabulous viewpoint of Devil’s Throat, where the largest volume of water from Iguazu Falls spills. At 80 meters, Devil’s Throat is the largest single waterfall and a must-see.

You’ll have time to purchase lunch at a restaurant within the park, or if you bring lunch, you can have a picnic at one of the park’s most scenic spots. You can also wait to have lunch until you return to Puerto Iguazú.

In the afternoon, you’ll return to Puerto Iguazú, and you’ll have the rest of the day and evening free.

Day 5: Argentine Side Falls.

On this guided tour, you’ll have the opportunity to see the Argentine side of Iguazú Falls in three parts:

* Upper Circuit: A 500-meter ascent (45 minutes) will allow you to see Dos Hermanos, Bossetti, Adan y Eva, Bernabe Méndez, Mbiguá, and San Martin falls from the highest point.

* Lower Circuit: With the help of a professional guide, you’ll walk approximately 1,300 meters for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to see the lower reaches of the falls. Along the way, we’ll visit places such as the Fruit Market, a bazaar-like market where locals buy household items and you can find some authentic souvenirs; Victorica Avenue, the coastal promenade that borders the Luján River, leading to the elegant gardens surrounding the Tigre City Council headquarters and the Tigre Art Museum.

Once we arrive in Iguazu, a vehicle will pick you up at the airport and take you to your hotel. We’ll then embark on a half-day tour to the Brazilian side of Iguazu Falls.

We’ll begin an approximately half-hour bus ride across the river and into the park.

* Devil’s Throat: The first part of the tour is aboard a small train that, after 4 km, reaches the Devil’s Throat, allowing you to reach the upper reaches of the Iguazú River. From here, you walk along footbridges that allow you to reach the balcony from which you can admire the Devil’s Throat.

This excursion includes transfers to the Iguazú National Park Visitor Center, where visitors can board the train back to Devil’s Throat.

Day 6: Farewell to Argentina.

After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight to Buenos Aires. From the domestic airport, we will take you to the international airport for your return flight.
