Excursions and Packages
1. Contract
A reservation is accepted and becomes final once Calaio Viajes receives the initial deposit from the Client. This is the point at which this contract between Buenos Aires Touring and the Client is formalized. By making the initial payment and providing personal information, the Client accepts these terms and conditions. The contract is between Calaio Viajes and the Client, who are all persons included in the reservation. The person confirming the reservation guarantees that they have full authorization on behalf of all parties to confirm the contracted services, and that all parties accept the corresponding terms and conditions.
2. Payment
In order to confirm a reservation with Buenos Aires Touring, the client must deposit a 50% deposit of the total due. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of the service. In the event of non-payment by the established deadline, Calaio Travel reserves the right to treat the reservation as canceled by the Client. For reservations made less than 30 days prior to the start date of the service, the Client must pay the total amount for the contracted services directly. Payments can be made by bank deposit/transfer, cash, or credit card. In all cases, bank charges and additional fees for credit card payments will be the client’s responsibility.
3. Changes and Cancellations by the Client
All changes made to the original reservation must be requested in writing by the person who originally booked the services. All costs and charges that may arise from the requested changes and/or cancellations must be borne by the client. Although Buenos Aires Touring is committed to making every effort to accommodate the requested changes, availability cannot be guaranteed.
The Client may cancel their reservation at any time by providing written notice of their request. Cancellation fees will be calculated from the date the cancellation is received and applied according to the table detailed below. In addition to cancellation fees, air services may be subject to 100% cancellation. Air services have a special policy for each fare, which is available to the Client at the time of booking.
4. Number of days before the start of the trip
Cancellation Penalty Percentage
30 days or more: 20%
29-21 days: 30%
20-15 days: 60%
14-9 days: 75%
8 days or less: 100%
In the case of partial cancellations, the remaining occupants are subject to additional charges, such as supplements for single occupancy, underoccupancy of vehicles, etc.
5. Changes and Cancellations by Buenos Aires Touring Travel
Although Buenos Aires Touring will make every effort to operate all services as described, by accepting this contract, the client accepts that it may be necessary to adapt the itinerary or its contents due to weather conditions or other variables beyond the company’s control. Buenos Aires Touring reserves the right to cancel or change any of the services at any time and replace them with other services of similar conditions and prices, without any compensation to the client, who agrees not to be harmed as a result of these changes. If there is a significant change to any of the services, the client will be informed at the time of booking the services, so that they can provide their consent. If this significant change occurs after the service has been contracted, the client will be given the option to choose whether to continue the service, opt for another service, or receive a full refund, provided that this change is not caused by a force majeure event beyond Calaio Viajes’ responsibility and control (such as wars, natural disasters, adverse weather conditions, social unrest, technical problems, flight changes, or cancellations by airlines). In these cases of force majeure changes, where Calaio Viajes has no control over departure times and dates, Buenos Aires Touring is not liable to any type of charge or penalty from the client.
6. Passport, Visa, and Vaccinations
It is the Client’s responsibility to have a passport.
