Buenos Aires is like New York, you can eat at any time and have a delivery  anytime.
Argentina’s reputation is based on the quality of its beef.

If European or American meats do not sufferin comparison, in Buenos Aires, the difference is notable when it arriveson your plate: The quantities are significantly greater. Portions of450g is quite common.Attention, specify cooking, Argentine tend to
eat rather well done, which for may Europeans is unthinkable.

Tourist guides usually always show the same restaurants. Expensive and not necessarily better than those I will mention. Among the countless restaurants and parillas you will find, you will find adresses of various qualities and for all budgets. It depends on your taste for exoticism.

Personally I would rather sit in a local restaurant with  an old wooden table and a checkered table cloth that remind me of the Paris of my childhood. They  are not hard to find.If you want to sit more comfortably and take your time, my favorite is La Escondida located on Costa Rica and  Scalabrini Ortiz..

La Escondida offers good value for moneyand service is really pleasant. I took many customers there, have recommended it to many others and have never been disappointed.

Drinks are reasonable. For about 12usd a bottle of good wine, you have a large piece of meat and an excellent ” all you can eat ” salad bar.
